THE ATELIER
Ritual Atelier is an artist-led house rooted in philosophy, art and the body.
Through living ritual-art works, rites, and artefacts, the Atelier invites you to enter charged spaces where dream, symbol, and body move into being.
Each encounter is composed as a living altar, a field of material, presence and relationship where body and imagination become the medium.
Here, what has been felt, longed for, silenced or not yet brought into being is given form.

Ritual-Art Encounters
Participatory ritual-art works. A shared field to enter.
Each encounter is composed as a living altar within the cosmology of the Atelier, where image, sound, voice, movement and material presence give form to dream, body and symbol.
Encounters may unfold as evening works, day immersions, seasonal rites, residencies or site-responsive commissions.
RITUAL-ART ENCOUNTER I
Vessel of Dreams
Vessel of Dreams invites participants to enter a living work of ritual-art shaped through image, movement and voice.
Through moving image, sound and a guided imaginal process, the body becomes a vessel for what lives beneath the surface.
From the waters of the imagination, the dream moves through the body and begins to take shape.
£65 contribution for inaugural encounter, incl a small limited-edition photograph and curated botanical refreshments.

Private Commissions
Rites
Rite of Way is a series of private ritual-art commissions for a person, pair or group at a personal, creative or professional threshold: an ending, a beginning, a separation, a grief, or a turning point.
Each Rite is an authored commission, composed in response to the person, place and passage at hand. Through gesture, image and material form, a transition is recognised, witnessed and crossed.
These private works unfold through a single encounter or a sequence of preparatory dialogues, culminating in immersive studio or site-specific days
Private rites are individually composed and offered by enquiry. Single encounters begin from £650; fuller rites are shaped according to scope, duration, location and the threshold at hand. A limited number of commissions are opened each year.Available in London and beyond, by arrangement.

Ritual Atelier is founded and directed by Ann Shuptrine, an artist working at the threshold of image, ritual, material practice and embodied perception.
Drawing on the moving body, field-based practice and the symbolic life of matter, she creates living works, private rites and artefacts that give shape to the imaginal.
